Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Cost Estimation : Analyze and estimate the costs of materials, labor, and overheads required for manufacturing wiring harnesses and foam products. Prepare detailed cost models and reports to support pricing strategies.
  • Budget Management : - Develop and manage the production budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial efficiency.
    - Monitor and control expenditures to stay within the allocated budget.
  • Financial Analysis : - Conduct regular financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall profitability. Evaluate cost structures and suggest cost reduction measures.
  • Supplier Negotiation : - Work with suppliers to negotiate prices and terms, ensuring cost-effective procurement of raw
    materials.
    - Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure favorable deals.
  • Cost Control : - Implement and monitor cost control measures throughout the production process.
    - Identify and mitigate any cost overruns or inefficiencies.

    Qualification :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a production management role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in foam conversion or moulding.
  • Skills :

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in production management software and SAP systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Production and Quality Management : - Record and maintain production schedules, quality standards, dispatch records, sales data, worker attendance, store inventory, and equipment maintenance logs. - Ensure that production processes meet the required quality standards.
  • Cost Reduction and Procurement : - Implement cost reduction initiatives and provide technical support for procurement activities. - Source materials and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Adhesive and Foam Product Knowledge : - Utilize expertise in adhesive and foam products for cutting, stitching, and chemical formulation processes. - Oversee the application of adhesive and foam products in production.
  • Tool and Jig Design : - Design tools and jigs, arrange for their fabrication, and conduct feasibility studies for new products. - Continuously improve cutting methods and equipment efficiency.
  • Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) : - Plan and execute APQP processes, ensuring advanced quality planning and die design. - Improve production methods to enhance product quality.

    Qualification :

  • Monitoring Productivity : Utilizing charts and SAP (B1) software to monitor productivity and manage work canter.
  • Capital Expenditure Recommendations : Making recommendations on capital expenditures to improve capacity and quality.
  • Process Improvement : Identifying and implementing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Team Leadership : Providing motivation, support, and guidance to employees, developing and training them.

    Qualification :

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.

  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Vendor Management : - Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
    - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
    - Conduct vendor audits and performance reviews.
  • Procurement Process : - Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
    - Ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials, supplies, and services.
    - Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Negotiation: - Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best possible deals.
    - Review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Inventory Management : - Collaborate with inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels.
    - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment.
  • Cost Management : - Analyse and evaluate cost structures to identify cost-saving opportunities.
    - Implement cost reduction strategies without compromising on quality.
